PARTICIPANTS!

48 Students of 10 ETMTA Teachers
participated in the
Practice-A-Thon  and  Play-A-Thon.

The final tally as of April 6, 2006:
a total of 8,798 minutes were practiced

Mission  for  the  ETMTA  Practice-A-Thon:

Throughout the week of February 19-25,
ETMTA students committed to daily practice.
Our mission was to strengthen student's practice habits
while supporting MTNA in its effort to raise funds for teachers
affected by the Hurricane Katrina Disaster.
Many teachers lost their entire studio when the hurricane hit.
Lots of students lost their music and instruments and missed many lessons.

Students found sponsors (mom, dad, family, friends, neighbors, teachers)
who pledged a certain amount of money for each minute of practice.
